5 ingredient Blueberry Lime Smoothie – thick creamy & filling! | Paleo + Vegan
I thought I’d take a quick break from adding blueberries to ALL the baked goods and throw some in my smoothie for a change.
And let me tell you…A+ idea over here.
Creamy ✔️ Dreamy ✔️ Super Easy ✔️
Ok sorry! I’ll try to stop being so lame now!
But seriously, this blueberry lime smoothie (like all smoothies, really) is super easy to make & so delicious!
It’s made with only a handful of ingredients
✨Frozen Blueberries
✨Fresh Lime Juice
✨Avocado
✨Milk (whatever kind you’d like)
✨Maple Syrup (optional if you like things more on the sweet side)
Because we’re using frozen blueberries avocado makes this smoothie incredibly creamy – almost yogurt-like. You don’t taste it at all which makes it great for the little ones (or in my case picky husbands).
So just toss all of your ingredients in a blender and blend away! The end result is a smoothie that’s a filling as it is fresh. It’s a great choice to get you going in the morning, as a post workout refresher, or anytime you’re just craving something healthy!
And hey! If you’re really digging the blueberry lime flavour combo you can also check out my Blueberry Lime Donuts. It’s all about balance, right?!

Subbed stevia drops for sweetener, and used homemade cashew milk. Everything else per the recipe. Tart, sweet, silky smooth, delicious! Like a blueberry milkshake. My large silicon straw stands up by itself in the glass. Thanks for sharing your recipe!

Just made this for a light supper. Didn’t put any sweetner in it, this is so thick & creamy & delicious and quite filling. Must try it again with sweetner this time.
